What’s your Twitter name?

Submitted by Matthew Needham on Tuesday, 3 November 20099 Comments

Many Big Red Tomato Company followers are already connecting with us on Twitter. (over 100 in the last week!).

But it occured to me, that many of you would also like to connect with other users of this site.

So, in the comments section below, please leave your username – leave a link so it’s easy to add as many of you as possible.

Hopefully we should be able to connect with a few more people who are interested in leadership and lifestyle.

Don’t forget to follow us @bigredtomato !

As a small business owner it is always interesting to find out how other people are running their businesses. I can help with marketing businesses but there is always a tip from someone that can change your working life.

Great idea Matthew and in very good spirit too! Twitter is still something I’m getting to grips with purely because as a lone consultant I’m buried in ‘work’ most of the day (and night!) and just don’t get time to play with it. Picking up the right sort of followers has always been the tricky bit so an opportunity to connect and share ideas with like minded professional is welcome.

I’m in the digital marketing business and provide clients with strategy, design, build and online marketing services.

After leaving ‘big corporate land’ many years ago, ‘micro SME’ life can be insular in some ways I suspose.I think the model of your business, and as such the variety of contacts you make, can be very significant as to whether you have a ‘is it just me’, or ‘I wonder if anyone else…’?
One big bonus of being ’small’ for me is that – even though at the time it may not seem like it – you really do get to grips with the full ‘A to Z of ‘company life, from sourcing small promotional items / stationary etc, to undetaling a full blown optimisation of your website!

I’m a newbie blogger teaching myself how to blog by surrounding myself with people, bloggers and Twitterers who are much cooler than me.

And you can be one of those cool people too – just send me an @reply on Twitter to let me know who you are!

    Cheers!
