This month Chris Ducker from virtualbusinesslifestyle.com has been walkabout in the US. Visiting clients, conferences, and attending Blogworld10 (in Las Vegas), even meeting Darren Rowse from Problogger in the process.
Anyway, whilst Chris has been on walkabout, he’s been having a guest post month. Featuring articles from readers on his great blog.
As concern for the environment is utmost in many bloggers minds, I thought you’d appreciate a bit of recycling. Consequently I’m borrowing Chris’ idea and I’m giving you the opportunity to share your story about how you got your business started, the problems you’ve faced and how you’ve ivercome them. These a case studies will be published on this site, whilst Baby BRT is enjoying his first overseas holiday this December.
3 Simple rules to follow

- The work must be 100% original and not appear on any other site or in any other
Deadlines for submission Monday 15th November.
If you have an outline of an idea then I’d love to hear about it. Please contact us using the ‘get in touch‘ form with an outline of your idea and how you’re going to present it (video/text etc)
Remember, we do like stuff that you can action quickly, so practical advice or insights would be the most appreciated.

I actually got into my search engine optimization business by accident. I tried ecommerce at first, but it failed. I used the seo techniques I had already known and some software I got for the ecom business, and started offering seo services when a friend asked me if I knew anything about it. From there, it turned into web design and graphic design as well.
My suggestion is to ignore negative comments. And if anyone should have something negative to say, keep them at a distance and simply avoid them.

Hi Patricia, thanks for taking the time to travel to the other side of the world and commenting. I keep meaning to write a more detailed post on the name of the company as a lot of people ask the origins, so thanks for reminding me.
