Thursday Thoughts

The sharp eyed amongst you will have noticed that Wednesday Wisdom has been replaced this week with Thursday Thoughts. No great mystery, I forgot there was a Bank Holiday this week!

Here’s a round-up of some of the best links which I’ve come across over the last week from around the web which I think will be beneficial to you.

Act on the great tips here this week and you’ll have a flying start for next.

The first post from Maren Kate’s blog escapingthe9to5 is an article on the 21 musts on starting a small business. This article neatly sums up brand building and gaining traction quickly. Well worth a look.

Next up is the Launchcoach Dave Navarro and his excellent article on why affordable products (low priced) hurt your business and your customers is a must read for those Internet entrepreneurs seeking to make their living online as it’s the higher priced / premium products which sustain your business.

I had an excellent phone conversation on Tuesday with Chris Ducker of Virtual Business Lifestyle about a possible JV – I’ll keep you posted on how that turns out. Anyway, in this post Chris  shares with us the secrets of staying in touch when you’re on the road.

Finally I thought I’d share a bit of fun. In case you didn’t read it, Google acquired Problogger.net last week which was retweeted over 740 times from the Problogger site.   Apparently not everyone realised it was an April Fools joke.

What do you think?

Indeed, Maren has great stuff to say there! Oh and I fell for the Problogger/Google acquisition thing until I saw the date stamp of April 1st.

    Surely people should’ve known…?

    Hi Moon

I’m really pleased that you have found the courage to leave your job and make your income passive. I really hope that you find what you need both on the regluar blog pages and the Wednesday Wisdom posts.

Giveabrick.com had me on their April Fool !

    Thanks for your comment
