Wednesday Wisdom is all about sharing actionable information which you can take action on before the end of this week. For the last few months Wednesday wisdom has covered articles on better blogging, better business and better life. As we narrow the focus and refine the focus of the blog we will be narrowing the breadth of articles to cover articles on Business Growth Advice.
So, with that in mind, this week we’re going to start off with what we’ve found in the blogosphere this week to help grow your business.
If you’re struggling to make money from your website, then maybe Michael Dunlop from IncomeDiary.com has the answer. Michael wrote a great post on Why Your Blog Sucks to answer Michael’s most commonly asked question: ‘why is my blog not earning me money’. Michael covers all the important aspects which will help you achieve success online.
Nathan Hangen wrote a really informative piece on the Kissmetrics – a beginers guide to email marketing, which is very useful for those of you looking to implement an email marketing campaign or sell more of your products through your email list. Read this article and take lots of notes.
I’m a big fan of the SteveScottsite.com. Steve mixes his personal blog/tales of his travels around Europe with great advice on earning a passive income and internet marketing. Steve has just completed his excellent 15 week series on launching an information product. Rather than link you to a specific article, I’ve linked you to the whole series here.
If you’re trying to show your ‘real self’ on your website then you could do worse than follow Yolanda Facio’s excellent 20 Things You Didn’t Know About me post. Yolanda shows that she’s a real person and establishes a connection with her readers. Could you do this on your site?
Thu Nguyen writes at bloggingfor.info and recently published an interesting post talking about how she got an Alexa ranking below 100k (at time of writing it’s now at 82k), some great tips from someone who has clearly achieved success with her process. Maybe this could work for you?
So, that’s what I’ve been reading this week to help grow our business. What about you? What articles have you read which would help grow your buiness?

Thanks kindly for the mention!
I will share a great book I’m currently reading: “Make Them Believe” by Dan Kennedy and Chip Kessler. Some invaluable lessons on growing your business.

No problem Yolanda, it’s always good to read and share your stuff! I’m not familiar with that book. I will check it out on Amazon. Thanks for stopping by! Matthew
Hi Matthew,
Another dynamic post. Met some new people today thanks to you. Ya know Matthew, your Blog is something that you actually have to study. You can’t just blow by and do a quick read of your material.
I’m going to set aside this Sunday and doing some trolling over here!
