Wednesday Wisdom is all about articles which will help you in three things, Better blogging, Better business, and finally more importantly a Better life. This week I have selected some articles which I am sure will help you in one of these areas!
This week let’s start with the articles which will help for Better Blogging.
Better Blogging
I noticed last week that many of the blogger sites that I regularly comment on haven’t been updated for a good few weeks. So, this article by Thomas Sinfield How to Fast Track ‘Blogger Burnout’! is very timely. Thomas identified 3 causes of burnout, which anyone who has been blogging for a while will have felt the symptoms of. Is it time to re-evaluate your blogging schedule?
Two posts from DavidRisley.com caught my attention, the first How I Make Money Blogging: 2010 YTD is interesting, as unlike some bloggers who share their income David also talks about expenses, which of course is makes for a more rounded story, although he doesn’t share any actual figures. The reason why I share this particular post is really as a note of caution: whilst sources of income and ‘how much I made blogging’ are interesting, you should remember that for people who make their money telling people how to blog, sharing income reports is good for business.
A more useful post, also from David Risley, especially for those looking to monetise their blogs from Ebooks, is his excellent post on providing extra value from your ebook, which might make you rethink how you do your next launch for maximum sales.
I’ve become a bit of SEO Junkie since Alex Whalley educated me that there are around 166 million searches on Google every hour. With all those searches going on, it makes sense that the all seeing Google sends at least some of them my way. A great guide to SEO that I’ve come across is Glen Allsop’s over at Viper Chill. He has posted a straightforward guide for lay people – WordPress SEO – The only guide you’ll ever need Well worth checking out.
Better Life
Ashley Ambridge’s excellent blog – The Middle Finger Project featured a great post, where she shares that love have taught her patience, compromise, dedication and intimacy. Here’s the excellent article on Life not being as serious as you make it
Not to be confused with our own article on entrepreneurship, Jeremy L. Knauff guest posted on Men With Pens asking the question – what type of entrepreneur are you? great inspirational post for those looking to lead an entrepreneurial life.

Happy birthday for the weekend Matthew! Thanks again for including one of my posts in your Wednesday wisdom and as usual I am surrounded by great company.
I’d have to agree that David’s post about his income was refreshing compared to most, and I must admit that I am a massive Viperchill fan so anything he writes is good!

First time to the site and have to say solid post with great resources.
Saw Glenn’s post a little while back but I must have just skimmed it because if I was paying attention I would have bookmarked it like I’ve done now.

Hi Ian, thanks for the comment here and thanks for stopping by. I hope that this is your first of many comments!
I do the same, come across great sites, then forget about them in the see of great sites. So it’s great when someone reminds you that the original great site is worth checking out again.
Good luck with the checking the other blogs!
