Guest Post Guidelines
Hello and thank you for showing interest in writing a guest post for The Big Red Tomato Company. If you’re a Twitter use you’ll be familiar with Follow Friday or #FF for short. As a tie in to #FF we schedule Guest Posts on a Friday.
So, to help you with the submission, we’ve put together these guidelines to help you:
The Big Red Tomato Company writes about business growth advice, specifically on the subjects of :
- Leadership
- Entrepreneurship
- Small Business
We welcome guest posts on any of those broad themes, but we don’t specify a word limit, basically as many words as you think it’s necessary to get your message across. Whether that’s 200 or 2000 that’s fine with us, as long as it gets the message across quickly and the content is actionable by the reader.
Most important: Before you waste your valuable time writing a speculative post please send us a quick message on Twitter with a 140 character outline of your proposed post.
The details
To make things easier, please write your post in your WordPress editor (or whatever platform you use) and;
- Add an image illustrating the post at the top and centralise it (no offensive images please!)
- Add any hyperlinks to other sites to open in a new page (please no affiliate links)
- Add your bio details to the bottom of the post (including a link to your website / about / services page)
- Read it through and spell check it!
Switch to your HTML tab and copy all of the text and HTML codes, then paste it all into your text editor!
Save it!
And then send it to info[at]bigredtomatocompany[dot]co[dot]uk
Simple as that, thanks for your assistance, it saves time when we schedule it!
