A Brief Bio

Matthew Needham consults and works with some of the world’s biggest businesses, like BT, DHL and Experian as well as not for profit organisations such as the University of Hull and the University of Lincoln.  Matthew typically consults on projects to sustainably reduce costs, improve business processes and transforming under performing teams.

He also works with small/medium sized businesses to help them move to the next level

Matthew is a graduate in Accounting and Finance, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, Executive Interim Manager and Consultant.

At a glance:

1991

Graduated from Nottingham Trent university and joined Rolls-Royce as a Finance Graduate Trainee.

1993 – 1996

Admitted to membership of CIMA. Later became Finance Manager IT managing relations with IT Co-sourcing partner.

1997 – 2008

Appointed Divisional Controller – Technology Services CCN which subsequently changed its name to Experian, taking several roles and promotions – appointed Head of Finance – Corporate and Technology Services responsible for both operational and financial activities including Procurement.

2008 – 2009

Became a professional interim manager,  providing interim financial leadership to clients in the Technology, Media and Telecoms industries.

2010 – 2011

Matthew became a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and started working with DHL and The University of Hull. Most importantly he became a father to Sam.
